Halloween is coming up and this is a perfect chance for all of you who are in a serious (or less so) relationship to make a declaration to the world that you are a power pair. That all-denim-everything photo of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake is so popular that everyone knows about it. Yet yet I’ve seen very few couples pick that as their suggestion for a Halloween costume for the last decade or so. And it doesn’t make sense to me, because you’re likely to have the most (if not all) of the appropriate attire in your wardrobe already! Harley & Joker
Now that the Joker of Joaquin Phoenix is out and the latest Harley Quinn film has been released, the super villain power-couple costume will be very invogue. The clothes are the easy part but to really pull off this look you’ll need a good makeup artist.
Beetlejuice
Here’s a costume design you’ll certainly need to go shopping for, but also one that’ll be unforgettable for anyone who sees it! Everything you need is to watch Beetlejuice (or, indeed, any Tim Burton movie), and select two characters from it. Like with the outfit of Harley and Joker, the thing that can really differentiate your character is the makeup, so make sure to set aside enough time to make sure the faces look like what they’re meant to look like.
Oreo
The Oreo costume is a very lazy costume, but that doesn’t detract from the fact that for a couple it’s a perfect costume. All you need is a white t-shirt and some construction paper to make the favorite Oreo cookie yourself and your significant other two halves! How cute!
Adams Family
I know it says “Adams Family,” but the two most unforgettable characters-the parents-are just all you need to pull this off. And, it should be relatively straightforward in terms of finding the right clothing for the outfit. A black suit and a black dress are required. And further add to that, to look translucent, you should cover your face with white powder and then you are flawless!

There’s a really simple and hard way to dress up like the Muppets. The simple one is to wear only the colors that would match the Muppets and say you are the Muppets. Here’s an even simpler lazy couple outfit than the Oreo one. What you need is proper ears for this one, and if you’ve ever been to Disneyland before — you probably already have those. Yet even if you don’t, you can get them from Amazon , Ebay or your favorite online marketplace.

Harry Potter costumes never go out of style. So, get yourself a black coat, some wands, some Gryffindor scarves and you can go dressed as Harry and Hermione to the nearest Halloween party. The only problem with this costume is that Harry and Hermione have never actually been a couple, but at a Halloween party (especially after some jello shots) nobody is that picky!
